Welcome to Suan Ceramics in Icheon, Rep. of Korea
The ceramist Yeung-an Jang is the 3rd generation of family business.
His works are mainly reintroducing the Goryeo celadon(The Goryeo Dynasty 918–1392) with high techniques such as forming double-layer body, piecing and inlaying. It has been almost 40 years that he is living with clay since he’s been introduced to ceramic by his father Chang-hwan Jang (2nd generation, 1914-2003).
Suan Ceramics is located in Icheon, Rep. of Korea. Just 60km southeast of Seoul is the mountain-surrounded city of Icheon famous for Ceramic Village and traditional ceramic ware which has the artistic spirit of craftsmen.
